Well said. Today the WSJ published an article announcing that Trump will consider exempting some US companies from the tariffs. Companies, not countries. His mates. The oligarchy begins.

Nicely articulated Liam! I have to say it, get it off my chest: This situation, this behaviour, this destruction. Is. As expected. Nobody should be surprised. He told the public he would do these things. He is a convicted criminal. He is corrupt and unethical to the core. He was voted in by the people he represents, that just happens to be a majority (state/college complexities aside). Underlying, deep down in most Americans, must be a “yes”, fist pump. This is awesome. This is what I wanted. I voted in a very horrible person, to do horrible things. Win win.

Luckily, I live in Australia. Americans that do not share the views of Trump voters, please consider moving to abroad or Australia. We welcome you with open arms. We are open for business, services, tech, innovation, free trade. Heck, we’ll cover your health costs in case you need. :)

What a well written summary of the absolute mess we are in. Part 2 of this article needs to be what the hell can be done about it.

Thank you so much Stephanie, and if I can figure out a way out of this mess that offers some hope, I assure you I'll spill ink here first.
